Buddy Loses 2 of His 9 Lives
Spring has sprung and Ed now leaves the door between the warehouse and the office area open at night, since the heat is now off. Well, the other night (this happened last week actually, I'm just recovering to blog about it now) I went exploring for the first time after hours in the warehouse and I set off the motion detector alarm. Boy, is that horm loud! I jumped right out of my fur. That was the first of the two 9 lives I lost.
Then, the police showed up with a DOG. This canine was huge folks, and I saw him licking his lips, I thought I was done for! Luckily Ed came in and held the dog back though. Another one of my lives used. Good thing I got 7 left... or is it 6?
Meanwhile I spend the nights in the office area, as I did all winter. It's cool though, because Ed leaves a salt lamp on as a night light for me. And with my keen cat eyes, that's plenty of light for me to read by... so I did some meditation to relax and then enjoyed some birds. A bird book that is, I read BirdTalk: Conversations with Birds.
It was a long day, but luckily my kitty angels kept me from getting eaten by that dog,
Buddy
