Should We Have Named Buddy "Lucky" Instead?

As many of our customers know, Buddy is our cool warehouse cat. When Buddy, the former stray, came into our lives I wanted to call him "Lucky" for he couldn't have found a better place to live. But I called him Buddy instead, because he liked me so much, I called him my Buddy. Maybe Lucky would have fit as well, as you read the below story on what happened on Monday.

Buddy Is Lucky to Be Alive

Many thanks to the universe for providing a really cold day Monday. Buddy doesn't like the cold, so he stays inside on really cold winter days. What happened is I had my truck serviced at a local repair facility where the radiator hose needed to be removed. Unfortunately (this is where I had to exercise my forgiveness muscles and had to let this one go) the Technician left the radiator hose clamp off. The antifreeze leaked out right in front of the warehouse door where Buddy goes out. Most antifreeze you see is very appealing to animals - but it is also very deadly. I didn't discover the leak until I arrived at the post office that night, to deliver the daily orders where I broke down.

I am not going to mention the repair shop, for I called the owner of this huge facility and told him what had happened and he came right out with tools and fixed my truck right in front of the post office. The next morning I washed the spilled antifreeze away with soapy water. In the end, Buddy is fine, the owner of the dealership sends his apologizes and all is well.
