A Prayer / Reflection Request from Ed Mondazzi

Wow, you guys are the best. I just sent the below message out to our email list... I was about to post it here on the blog, but have been so busy with your emails and phone calls. Thanks so much for the outpouring of love and support for Nikki. Within about 1/2 an hour I needed help from my humans to keep track of all the email replies we got - I only got 4 paws you know. It's been a few hours now and we got several phone calls and at least 45 emails.

Dear Mondazzi Books Friends:

This past Friday, our very good friend of several years was hiking with his friend at scenic Enders State Park in East Granby, Connecticut where there are 30 foot waterfalls (about 10 Meters). His friend, Nikki slipped on the rocks and fell off the waterfall to the rocks below. Tim ran around the mountain side and jumped into the water and saved her. He pulled her to safety with life threatening injuries. Because of Tim she is alive and will eventually recover from several broken bones and other injuries. Nikki is a single parent of 2 children and has a good local support system.

I asked Tim if Nikki would accept prayer energy from around the world. So with this wonderful tool called the Internet - I ask if you if had a moment to reflect a thought towards Nikki's recovery and strength to her family.

Buddy Gets a Bird's Eye View

Buddy has been wanting to go outside this winter in the worst way. But lately the ground is covered with snow and ice, making it very cold for his feet.

As you can see Buddy solved his problem - He now climbs a tree! His feet stay warm (warmer) and he gets to watch everyone from above. Of course the birds are now confused.

Buddy Goes to the Vet

Buddy went to the Vet the other day... and didn't even meow one time. Of course Ed had a lot to say about the trip to the Vet for there were sick animals crying, moaning and letting out cries and barks that made Ed ready for a drink. I guess Buddy is just a lot stronger than Ed. Buddy weighed in at 14 pounds and is doing well. Ed, well he was too heavy for the scale. A low fat diet was highly recommended by the VET - for Ed!

Now for some good and bad news for our International clients. The United States Postal Service no longer offers surface shipping to anywhere in the world. Now the only common shipping option is airmail. Books are heavy and this just increased your postage a lot.

BUT, they did add a special offering. There is now a box provided by the US Postal Service that is called a "Flat Rate Airmail Box." This box can generally hold up to 10 books (depending on their sizes) for a flat shipping rate of $37. If you wish to place a multiple book order, we can now quote you shipping of $37.00. If your order is too large, we will email you and recommend which book to omit so that you can take advantage of this $37 Airmail box. Remember, we never process an International order until we quote you shipping and receive approval from you to process your order.
