Buddy’s Corner

A Special Message from Ed Mondazzi

Dear Mondazzi Book Patrons,

Our patrons are all over the world and don’t know me personally other than the interaction with Mondazzi Books. Our local customers that do know me are all asking me how I was able to lose all the weight that is really obvious when you see me now. My weight issue has been a problem for my entire life. I would easily be called a yo-yo dieter.

Two years ago I met a person at a Health Expo in Philadelphia, PA that asked me a question that I had no idea would lead me into a final resolve for my weight issue. She asked me “Why are you drinking a diet cola at a health expo?” Long story short – she is a specialist on Healthy eating and we became friends. Her approach over the next 2 years showed me a totally new way to Get HEALTHY. This healthy lifestyle is endorsed by my doctor. I felt it so important to share with others that I created a YouTube channel called FunEddie, that’s my nickname and I would like to share it with all of you. (Be sure to start at the bottom, Chapter 1.) My 55 pound (24 Kilos) was not difficult to lose and I hope it may help any of you in my former situation.

Always consult your physician before beginning any weight loss or exercise program, I did. If you wish to email me with any questions or suggestions, I am always available and always looking to learn more.

New Testimonials For Our Book Web Site

Thank you, Mondazzi for the great books and artifacts. I have been a customer for years and you have never disappointed me. You are the best and I have recommended you to all of my friends and family and they agree!!!
Namaste!
– Linda

I love doing business with REAL PEOPLE! It’s so different from ordering from mega-corporations like Amazon. When I place an order online with the Mondazzi’s, it’s almost as if I’ve walked into their store because I know the names of the people who work there and all correspondence has a personal note from whomever took my question. That’s a very rare occurrence these days and is, I believe a key to their success, along with, of course, their excellent service and reasonable prices.
I always check to see if Mondazzi has what I’m looking for first.
Mondazzi rocks!
– Becky

We appreciate the great feedback ladies. Thanks!

Secrets in the Fields – Latest Crop Circle in Wiltshire, UK

“A new strange crop circle has appeared in Avebury Trusloe, Wiltshire, UK. The crop circle has a very complex pattern and it’s unusual shape is somewhat of a puzzle…”

“Freddy Silva, an expert on crop circles and author of Secrets in the Fields: The Science and Mysticism of Crop Circles says that “crop circles are organized harmonic forms of energy comprised of light, sound and magnetism which physically manifest as geometric patterns when they interact with our physical world. To date, 10,000 crop circles have been reported in 29 countries, and have appeared in mediums such as wheat, barley, canola, trees, ice, rice paddies, even linseed.”

Tornado Just Missed Our Windsor Warehouse

Dear Mondazzi Books Patrons:

In a very rare event, a tornado touched down Monday, July 1st passing within 100 yards of our warehouse. The entire Mondazzi Books staff was unharmed and our building incurred no damage. During the event, we noticed the winds pick up tremendously and (maybe a bit naively) we all rushed to our front entrance to assess the situation. Seeing flattened cardboard boxes strewn across the parking lot that were previously neatly stacked in our front entrance, we quickly realized that this was more than another summer thunderstorm.

The warehouse next door to us was severely damaged, but fortunately was vacant. The tornado then forged a one mile long path clearing out most of everything in its way. There were no reported injuries, but there was lots of debris tossed around, including large sections of tobacco netting across the street that were whipped up into the air.

We would like to thank all of you that called and emailed to see how we fared through this event. The local and national news stated that this tornado touched down on Hayden Station Road in Windsor, which is our street… not how we want to make the news! We did lose power, Internet and cell service, but all is restored now.

This was a close one. Your orders will be a day or so delayed in processing, but as always we will email you when your order is shipped.

Thank you all for your concern,

Sonja and Ed Mondazzi

“The National Weather Service confirmed Monday’s storm as an EF-1 tornado. It touched down in OJ Thrall fields near Hayden Station Road in Windsor about 1:30 p.m, then traveled 2.25 miles across I-91 and the Connecticut River and into East Windsor.”
